Carcinoid tumours and bone marrow donation?

About ten years ago I had a carcinoid tumor removed from my colon. I didn't have any chemo, radiotherapy or complications and have been confirmed as completely recovered by my doctor. As a result of it though, I'm not allowed to donate blood. Does anyone know if I'd still be able to register as a bone marrow donor?
