My friend asks should she allow her abusive parent go to her college graduation?

My friend lives with an abusive parent , this parent hurts PHYsically, emotionally, and mentally...., this been happening throughout her entire life shes been abused by her parent. Her college graduation is coming up. in her past highschool graduation that parent of hers made her cry right before the walk started, and made her day completely miserable for graduation didnt enjoy it at all, she was depressed. Should she allow her parent to go to her college graduation?? we need some of your opinions thanks
