Major help about a family member?

If you reach out to him, just be prepared for rejection. He may not write you back, or he might tell you he's not interested in getting to know you. I'm not saying this will happen....but it COULD happen, and your feelings could get very hurt. If you don't think you can handle that, then don't contact him. But if you do think you can handle it...then go for it and see what happens. He might be really happy to hear from you, you never know. But think it through...and don't do it if you're not sure.
