Why don't boys need fathers?

Technically, children don't need mothers or fathers. Ultimately, I do think children benefit from a stable, loving household, whether it's a mother and a father, two mothers, two fathers or a single parent. Good parenting is possible in a variety of scenarios. What's nice about two parents, rather than one parent, speaking from personal experience, is that the financial situation is usually better.
